EYE is the first motion graphic video ever done by me in After Effect (also a first time!). This video discussed about the impact to environment if humanity ever decides to fully focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and not knowing the consequences for heavily relying on it. I use narrative-type of tone as a way to deliver the message, with few allegory involved in the video!
Some of the video's discussion were based off an article that I found while researching this topic. It is important to acknowledge that AI continues to use our resources and we as humans should not be relying too much upon these assistance. They can make mistakes like us, but always remember to seek other sources and to continue caring the environment we lived in called Home and Earth.

THEME AND IDEA
One question: What happen when we decide to FULLY rely on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and proceed to not care about the effect behind the scene?
AI together with its data centre has becoming one of the environmental issues since few years. While they can be our assistance for most of our task, it should be worth noting at how they manage our resources to generate from a single sentence to a generated image. In this case, I wanted to bring the concern over a scenario that are straightforward: if we chose to ignore our Mother Nature for the sake of AI.
The art-direction of this motion graphic video is heavily based of Malay woof carving, mainly 'Awan Larat' (swirling cloud in Malay) and the use of gold, as a way to show the ingenuity that we have as a human; opposed to blue and circuitry board to show artificiality. This is to represents the two contrast between Human Creativity and Robot Synthetic.

WHAT WENT WRONG WITH MOTHER NATURE AND AI?
The Eye of Bumi (Mother Nature) may be abundant with its resources, but as the Eye of Prajnā (Artificial Intelligence) continues to improve its knowledge, the source were taken away for the sake of improvement, however the nature slowly dried up, causing the calamity.
